The Curator’s record
The occupant occasionally chirps when a child threatens a bird. On such occasions, the living side of his form appears warmer and the dead side less dark.
Provenance
Malcolm ignored the Caretaker's warning and seized a guardian bird from the cage. The guardian escaped, and Malcolm awoke within the bars as an incompletely transformed bird.
Observed activity
The occupant appears alive to some observers, skeletal to others, and sometimes both. Anything cursed inside the cage remains between the worlds of the living and the dead.
