The Curator’s record
The vessel remains covered when not under controlled observation. No flame is required for activation.
Provenance
Apprentice Bartholomew Wick ignored warnings not to taste, stir, or stare into the brew. His smiling reflected self reached through the surface and dragged him beneath it.
Observed activity
Purple light forms patterns overhead. Reflections act independently, display desired success, and may reach from the liquid to exchange places with the observer. Bartholomew can still be seen stirring below the surface.
