The Curator’s record
Any newly appearing liquid must remain untouched. The faint floral scent is not proof that the vessel is safe or empty.
Provenance
The bottle arrived anonymously with a promise that one drop would preserve what time intended to take. Madame Bellamy used every remaining drop before a winter ball and was progressively erased as her future was spent.
Observed activity
The perfume reverses visible age while rapidly consuming future time. Nearby flowers wilt, candles burn down in minutes, and photographs shift age from the wearer to others. At exhaustion, reflection, sound, and memory of the wearer fade. A single drop may occasionally appear in the bottle.
