In tonight’s story, we drift to the seaside town of Willowmere, where grief hangs heavier than fog. There, a solemn mortician named Dr. Alaric Dorne inherits a strange antique, a baroque apothecary bubble jar, its curved glass panes gleaming like captured souls, its silver frame etched with reeds and ferry oars. Within, it holds not air, not ash… but the dark waters of the River Styx itself, the ancient boundary between the living and the dead. Dr. Dorne believes he can use it to soothe the pain of loss, to hold back the tide of mortality itself. But some rivers are not meant to be bridged, and some souls do not wish to stay.
