The Curator’s record
These objects are catalogued as a protective ensemble. The Curator has declined to identify who continues repairing their webs.
Provenance
The Midnight Weavers created Veilcatchers from a tradition inspired by stories of Asibikaashi. Each bead remembers a person, promise, or protected dream. Several entered the Mystical Caravan by an unrecorded route.
Observed activity
Gentle dreams pass through the center and descend along the feathers. Fear, regret, restless whispers, and wandering spirits become caught until dawn. The beads sometimes move in still air.
