In tonight’s story, we return to the gaslit parlors of Victorian London, where beauty was cultivated like a weapon and envy bloomed like ivy on every wall. There, Madame Petronella Bloom, florist, socialite, and patron saint of self-admiration discovers that an old ritual vessel makes for a very striking vase. But when she fills it with flowers meant to impress rather than honor, her bouquet learns from its mistress: it simply cannot stop consuming compliments.
