The Curator’s record
Seraphine kept the four jars near her entrance after returning the children to human form—either in remembrance or preparation.
Provenance
After four children cracked the golden gourd containing a fragment of the forest spirit, Seraphine transformed them into fireflies and placed each inside a lantern. They carried sparks through the garden until its protective boundary was restored.
Observed activity
The empty lanterns glow brighter than the surrounding lights every All Hallows' Eve. They remain capable of holding transformed trespassers within the grove.
