The Curator’s record
The table was later found set with a single cup of black tea. The vessel remains warm. It should not be used for hospitality.
Provenance
An elderly widow touched the service after enduring Lady Chamberland's contempt. Thereafter the teapot poured without end and the cup gave voice to every rumor and insult the Lady had spread.
Observed activity
The cup fills with dark, thick, unbearably bitter tea and repeats the owner's harmful words. Shadows associated with the service bound Lady Chamberland until she faded from the manor.
